Bangor CCF are Champion Cadets

Cadets from the Bangor Grammar School Combined Cadet Force have been collecting honours in the Northern Ireland Champion Cadet competition held recently at Magilligan.  The event is recognised as a highlight of the Cadet year and they Bangor teenagers held off stiff competition to collect a bevy of trophies.


Pictured receiving awards and congratulations from Deputy Commander 38 (Irish) Brigade Colonel Mike Murdoch are, from left, Cadet Sergeant Major Rachel Ireland, runner up in the Patrol Competition; Cadet Regimental Sergeant Major Rachel Baxter, runner up in the Stalk Competition; Cadet Regimental Major Katherine Polly who won the Physical Fitness challenge and Cadet Corporal Daniel Wallace who was runner up to Katherine in the Physical Fitness challenge.
