NI CADETS AND RESERVES PAY TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN

13 November 2018

Around 1,500 people came together at Belfast’s Cenotaph on Sunday to pay silent and solemn tribute to the fallen of World War 1.That conflict ceased on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month of 1918 after an armistice was signed in France, and the 100 years anniversary gave this year’s ceremony a particular poignancy.

Cadets from across the city had honour of lining the route taken by the wreath-laying procession.

Reservists from across Northern Ireland had the privilege of forming the Guard of Honour at the ceremony and Bugler Gregory Lutton performed the Last Post.
