Reserve Forces & Cadets Association
Northern Ireland

15 November 2023

On Sunday 12 November at 11am, Northern Ireland’s towns and cities stopped and did nothing observing a two minute silence, to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.  They defended their county and secured freedom and the future for generations ahead.

Leading up to Remembrance Sunday cadets from each corner of Northern helped members of the Royal British Legion and their volunteers to sell poppies and help raise much needed funds for the association.

From Belfast to Bangor, Lisburn to Londonderry and Portadown to Portrush there were Remembrance Services held right across the country and many of the NI’s 3000 tri-service cadets took part in these reflective services, along with members of the Armed Forces Community including Regulars, Reservists and Veterans.
