VACANCY – CADET ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Cadet Administrative Officer with the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Northern Ireland (RFCA NI). This is a full-time post based in Carryduff though there would be the opportunity for hybrid working, with a maximum of 2 days working from home.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Army Cadet Force (ACF) Battalion, therefore the appointment requires strong administrative and IT skills and experience of using bespoke software packages and/or management information systems (MIS).
The successful applicant will also have excellent communication and organisation skills and will be a good team player but with an ability to work effectively without close supervision.
The salary for the appointment at commencement is £24,040 (Crown Servant Administrative Officer (AO) Grade full-time post). The post holder will be required to work a 37 hour week (excluding lunchbreaks). Normal working days are Monday to Friday but occasional evening and weekend work may be required. The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Council of RFCAs Pension Scheme which operates a Career Average Revalued Earnings Scheme (CARE).
The successful candidate will be required to serve a probationary period of six months and final confirmation of the appointment is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of this probationary period.
The successful candidate will be required to be Security Cleared (SC).
